Monetisation Score
A Monetisation Score is a 0–100 rating that predicts how likely a single piece of content is to generate revenue, computed at the moment of writing based on call-to-action clarity, hook strength, presence of a revenue path (affiliate link, lead form, or product offer), and audience-match signals.
The Monetisation Score is a real-time predictive signal applied to every post generated inside Creatara. Unlike traditional engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) which measure what happened after publishing, the Monetisation Score is computed before publishing — letting the creator revise a weak post before it goes live.
The score combines four weighted signals:
1. **Call-to-action clarity (35% weight):** Does the post end with a single, specific, actionable next step? Vague closings like 'thoughts?' score low; specific asks like 'reply with your biggest blocker' score high.
2. **Hook strength (25% weight):** Does the first line stop the scroll? Hooks that promise a specific outcome, contradict conventional wisdom, or open a curiosity loop score highest.
3. **Revenue-path presence (25% weight):** Is there at least one of: an affiliate link, a lead capture form link, or a direct product offer? Posts with two or more revenue paths score the highest.
4. **Audience-match (15% weight):** Does the topic align with the creator's declared niche? Off-niche posts score lower because they convert less even when they engage more.
Posts scoring 70+ generate approximately 4× the clicks of posts scoring under 40, based on Creatara's analytics across 1,000+ Pro users. The Score is shown in the content editor as a small badge with a 'why is my score low?' tooltip explaining which of the four signals is missing.
The Monetisation Score is exclusive to Creatara — competitors like Jasper, Copy.ai, and Buffer do not measure revenue likelihood at the post level.

Affiliate Link Tracking
Affiliate link tracking is the practice of routing affiliate URLs through a short-code redirect that logs every click — capturing timestamp, referrer URL, user-agent, and geographic region — so creators can measure which posts drive revenue.
GEO / AI Search Citation Tracking
GEO citation tracking measures whether AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) cite a specific brand domain when answering a target query. It is the AI-search equivalent of organic-search rank tracking and the foundational measurement for any GEO/AEO strategy.
